Flower tips from your florist friend…
Fresh Start
1
When you get home with a hand tied bouquet, give those stems a fresh haircut.
Trim about a half inch off the bottom at an angle using sharp scissors or shears. (Flowers love a clean cut).
Vased Arrangements can wait a few days before a fresh cut is needed.
Location Matters
2
Flowers love:
Bright rooms
Cool temps
They do NOT love:
Direct sunlight
Heating vents
Being next to ripened fruit (yes, bananas are drama)
Grazing pets
The back of a too chilly fridge
Clean Water-
Happy Flowers
3
Clean, cool water will make your flowers the happiest.
Change the water every 2-3 days and give the stems another tiny trim if you can.
Remove any rogue leaves that sit below the water line- this keeps bacteria away and your flowers looking fresh longer.
Feed Them!

Hey, you know that little packet attached to the card you’re reading? Now’s the time to crack it open.
Add the flower food to fresh water because even flowers get hangry.
When flowers are past their prime…
Final Tip:
As individual blooms soften or droop, simply pluck them out and enjoy the remaining stems.
Seasonal flowers move and open in their own time. This isn’t a defect. It’s intentionally, naturally part of the story.
They were grown slowly, by thoughtful hands. Care for them, love them.
Flowers are meant to be enjoyed. Let them brighten your space, mood, and your week.
We love flowering for you! -XOXO
